Rutland Dinosaur

Maple Class took a trip to Rutland Water to recreate the Rutland Dinosaur – the largest Ichthyosaur fossil ever found in Britain. We made our dinosaur 3 metres, not quite as big as the one found, this was 10 metres in length. We made this using sticks and stones for the bones and even included some teeth. We are glad that these are not still swimming in the water!
